Our Story
LearningTool.org was born in 2020 — at a time when the world stood still, but learning couldn't afford to.
When schools closed during COVID-19, students across South Africa were suddenly cut off from classrooms, teachers, and structured support. In Makhanda, Eastern Cape, we saw this challenge firsthand. Grade 12 learners — already facing one of the most important academic years of their lives — were left navigating uncertainty alone.
Our Journey
The Beginning
What began as an urgent response to a crisis quickly became a mission to rethink how students learn in the digital age. We built tools designed to help Grade 12 learners study more efficiently — structured practice, better revision methods, and smarter ways to test understanding.
Evolution with AI
But education doesn't stand still — and neither do we. As artificial intelligence reshaped the world, we evolved. Today, LearningTool.org integrates AI-powered tools that allow students to create custom practice tests, receive instant feedback, and identify their knowledge gaps in real time. Instead of waiting days for marking or guessing where they went wrong, learners can now get immediate, intelligent support — anytime, anywhere.
